High Heels Shoes
A look at Kate Spade shoes and many other brands of footwear.
Women love high heels shoes. They typically have many pairs in a variety of colors and styles. The bad thing about these shoes is that they are often incredibly uncomfortable. They are often styled in such a manner that pinches the toes and squeezes the heels. These shoes often rub against the sides of the feet creating blisters.
However, many designers are starting to bring comfortable high heels shoes to the marketplace. Women who want to look good, but not damage their feet have been demanding shoes that are comfortable enough to wear all day. Prim pumps and high heels with an edge can all be had these days with comfort.
High heeled shoes add a level of elegance, specialness, and glamour to any occasion. Whether you are dressed up for the office or for a night out with a special man, you will look attractive and feel sexy.
Many designers are putting high heels on nearly every type of shoe. Sneakers, sandals, and even flip flops are now getting heels. Couture is shifting and the casual is blending with the formal. Breaking in your high heels is critical to wearing high heels well.
Although some designers believe that a low heel is anything less than 2.5 inches high, foot experts agree that you should never, ever wear a heel higher than 3 inches. A kitten heel is considered 1 1/2 inches in height.
You are also encouraged to switch out the level of heels you wear every day. Alternate flats and heels and the height as well. Designers such as Jimmy Choo and Gucci tend to design skyscraper heels, but these are not good choices in footwear.
High heels shoes have often lost favor among consumers. Most recently this occurred in the 1990s when women all over the country opted for flats and lower heels. During the 60s and 70s, women swore off high heels as well, but then they returned with a vengeance in the 80s.
The reasons against wearing high heel shoes are plentiful. High heel shoes increase the likelihood of sprains and fractures. They cause hammertoes and bunions, foot deformities. These shoes shorten a woman’s stride and cause foot pain. Because of the shift in the knees, women may experience degeneration in the knee joint.
Many women like wearing high heels shoes because they make them taller. Their legs look longer and their feet appear smaller. A woman’s calves are accentuated because of the shift in posture. Also, a woman’s posterior is much more attractive in high heel shoes.
As you can see, the arguments for high heel shoes are all about aesthetics. Repeated wearing of high heel shoes can shorten the Achilles tendon. When the woman wears flats again, she may experience burning and pain in the Achilles tendon and the bottom of the foot. The stress to the ankles can cause problems as well.
If you decide to wear high heels shoes, then make sure to only buy shoes that you can wear comfortably. The future health of your feet is not worth risking.
